Workgroups
The purpose of the ASP workgroups is to develop and implement projects that achieve the objectives in the Sonoma County Animal Services Action Plan. For each project, the workgroup will develop work plans that include specific strategies, activities, partners, timeline and resources needed.
Communications and Outreach
Develop and implement a coordinated communication, marketing, education, and outreach plan for Sonoma County animal services. Begin by focusing on promoting adoptable animals. Other priority areas include: low-cost spay/neuter services for companion animals, humane alternatives for feral cats, licensing compliance, and responsible pet guardianship.

Spay/Neuter
Develop and implement coordinated efforts to expand low-cost spay neuter services for companion animals in Sonoma County.

Shared Data Systems
Develop and implement a plan for consumer-friendly and accessible shared data systems for functions such as licensing, finding lost animals, finding adoptable animals, tracking dangerous dogs, and tracking system performance.
